Would RecommendI bought this water pressure meter to test the water pressure at campgrounds before connecting to their water supply. If it's only about 50 PSI, i don't use a pressure regulator. I connect it to a "Y" so I can bleed to air off for a more accurate reading. Just don't forget to take this gauge indoors in the winter to prevent it from freezing and getting ruined.

Incorrect Pressure Readings
Would Not RecommendI bought this because I thought the water pressure from hose bibs in a new home were low. I read the pressure from two of them and it read 30 PSI. I submitted a warranty claim and the builder sent a plumber. He read the pressure with 2 different gauges and it read 60. I tried the gauge again and it read 30. I bought a gauge from Home Depot and it reads 60. I threw the receipt away, so can't return the defective gauge.

Water Pressure Gauge
I buy these gauges for a Summer Camp to keep track of our water system. When I shut it down and removed the gauge last Fall it still read 64psi. I don't know if these gauges are meant to see constant pressure or need to be cycled periodically. Have a new one this year, will see how it does next Fall.

Gauge Needs a Relief Valve
Would Not RecommendWithout a relief valve, it is impossible to adjust pressure settings without removing the gauge and expelling water out of the line to get a new reading. A relief valve would solve that design flaw; however, the store did not offer a version with a relief valve.

It works ok but not great
Would Not RecommendThe water pressure gauge is just a little bit bigger then needed . Making it impossible to use in tight spots

Did What It Was Expected To Do!
Would RecommendI bought this gauge because a plumbing equipment installer told me the water pressure was too high -- over the limit of 60 PSI. I was already checking it, myself, but I wanted a cross-check, so I bought this gauge. It read the same as my original gauge, 48 PSI. That plumber can go rattle his pipes. Everything's fine.

Water Pressure Problems at Home
After hearing other neighbors had contracted a plumber to fix several home problems, I asked around the neighborhood about their experiences. Two told me that excess city water pressure had caused toilet valve, dishwasher and washing machine problems. Being a DIYer, I had also replaced two valves in my ice maker water supply line and three in one toilet over a six year period. I went to Lowes and after ten minutes of searching the two aisles I was referred to, I found the WaterMaster gauge in th...

Seems OK
Would Not RecommendSeems to work ok, I don't have any other gauge to compare it to for accuracy. The dial is graduated in 4 psi increments..which is just plain odd.
Water Pressure Gauge
Would RecommendI began to have problems with my water heater pressure relief valve hammering and opening. This gauge confirmed that my water company had raised the pressure to 130 Psi. Lucky I didn't damage any appliances. Added a reducing valve set at 60 Psi and problem solved.
Easy to use
Would RecommendThis pressure gauge was easy to connect and easy to read.
It Works
Would RecommendNot much to say except it's priced low, and works. If you have never tested your water pressure, I recommend you do so. Excessive pressure will cause may problems from broken pipes to faucets constantly dripping.
WATER PRESSURE GAGE
Would RecommendEasy to use & hopefully accurate. Has a red needle that is supposed to mark the maximum water pressure measured - it is very flimsy! The red needle should be tightened so that is stays in place, or removed & it is not functional as is
