Works perfectly

Works perfectly to plug a spot on our drip line in our garden

Much easier to use than round plugs

When I replace drippers the tubing sometimes develops a tiny tear. So I use these to seal all old dripper holes before punching new holes for replacement drippers. No leaks and no fuss. They pull out much easier than plugs when I finally must replace the entire line. So I can reuse them on another line. A good value and a great product.

The handle makes it easier to push in or pull out

I like the "handle" at one end. The handle makes it easier to push in or pull out, with or without pliers.

Plugged

Works just like it is suppose to. It's nice having the grated thumb pull to get it off the end of the hose. And the packaging has a zip lock so they are not scattering all over the place.

Perfectly 90 degrees

I was so pleasantly surprised to find out that when placed on a carpenter's square that they measured 90 degrees. DOH!!!

They work!

I'm not sure why other people are having issues with these breaking. I used about 20 of these out of 25, I didn't break one of them. I used 2 tongue and groove pliers to connect them to the tubing. Maybe because I'm a female and don't have the strength to break them. LOL

Stay away from these fittings

Unless you enjoy replacing them at least once per season. As another reviewer mentioned, these break easily during installation, and afterwards as well. Don't make the same mistake I did; pick a different brand.

Cap

It would be good if there was a cap on the end so that the flow could be adjusted

Good thing they are cheap. Very fragile

This T serves it's purpose and doesn't leak without a clamp but I broke several of them inserting them into the 1/4 " tubing. Use a heat gun when inserting them into the tubing if possilbe.

I preheat the distribution hose by pouring hot water from a tea kettle. This softens the hose a bit and makes inserting the connector a snap. Be sure to put the clamp on the hose first, then the connector.

Work great but break easily while installing tubing.

Brittle and unreliable

These tee connectors are brittle and break into pieces while inserting the vinyl tubing. One out of three break while installing. They are just as fragile after installation because light pressure on the tubing will break the tee connectors if the force is sideways. This product is made of polyethylene and other brands use polypropylene which may explain the difference. I have used hundreds of these and this Orbit product is the first that ever broke.
