It has a brass head and not a plastic.
What I like is it has a filter in it before the nozzle to spray out. It is also big enough for my hand to turn it on the fitting without a wrench needed. And that little head that pops up to get it passed the grass it sits in. And the coverage of grass is a good circle. It has a brass head and not a plastic head that wears out sooner than the plastic one, but I did have two brass ones that wore out this year after 40 years of being in the ground.

Would RecommendThis is a good sprinkler head, it just doesn't last long. There's a plastic collar around the brass spray head that deteriorates after about 3-4 years causing it to free flow around the head.
