I really like that it doesn't smell like a car wash air freshener!. It has 20% Picaridin and seems like it works fairly well keeping bugs away.

The bottle is rather small, so you will need multiple bottles for a large family/ longer outdoor experience.

It fits in my purse or even just a small tote bag to bring with me on the go. I love that it is a clear gel that goes on smoothly without any residue. It also rubs well into the skin and you don't inhale it on accident like the spray insect repellent. It's very moisturizing as well. You don't need a lot because a little goes a long way.

The sent is also not what I think of for insect repellent, there isn't the strong odor you expect. The gel is easy to apply and can be used wherever you need it. It's a little Messy when you open the lid, so be careful not to let small kids use the bottle as the gel is not thick and a little on the runny side. I am also pleased that it's not sticky like other gel products.

As the name suggests it is clear so I don't have to worry about leaving white stains on my clothes. I didn't get any insect bites while working in my garden for a few hours so I'd say it's very effective.
