This rug has a bit of a shine to it, not quite like the photo, but once you vacuum it and the pile stands up a bit the shine is not as noticeable

It fits all our chairs and bench. It has the perfect amount of shag although it is not super plush. It’s great for underneath a table but if you are using it in a living/family room I would probably add a plush rug pad.
