I love this rug, it looks amazing! It's impactful but subtle all at the same time. The feel is soft, and silky, but I'm not sure how well it is going to hold up. Still to be seen. One comment, is that we ordered the gray rug and the orientation of the Octopus was flipped from the display picture. This ended up working out well for us, but it is worth mentioning. Overall, very pleased with this rug.

We ordered this rug for my husband's home office. It is a little less grey/ white (leaning more toward the beige-grey color scheme) than what we expected but we still love it. Great complement to our coastal home. Very soft to our feet but the pile is low enough to allow free movement of the office chair. Perfect for us.

Thomas Paul Faded Octopus Rug
I don't recommend this item. First, it arrived wrapped in plastic and and when I unrolled it there was "something" nasty stuck to it in various places. It appeared to be bird crap. Second, the edges aren't bound well. I threw it out- I didn't want the task of repackaging and breathing in what ever was stuck on it because it was falling off as I moved it to the garbage. Yuck!

I can not say enough good things about this rug! The color is a muted "dark" gray. By that I mean it is not too dark. The quality is very nice and the colors are very true to picture. Its always a surprise to company when they get closer to this rug to see the wonderful and fun design. I placed it in my living room in front of fireplace.
