Although I haven't changed my initial rating I must say that the customer service from this company is outstanding! After reading my review Beth reached out to offer a return. I declined since I really do like the rug. They now are issuing a discount which is amazing. I will recommend Rugs USA. It is refreshing to find a company this customer oriented.

You Get What You Pay For!

The pattern is pretty. The pile is very thin, nothing like what is shown.

Smells like toxic chemicals and thinner than it looks

Was so excited to get this rug, then was very disappointed when it arrived. It’s not as thick as it looks online, and the strands are quite far apart so it feels thin. The worst part was the smell - it stank to the high heavens of chemicals and gave me and my family a huge headache. I even tried to pick it because it was Oeko Tek certified, but that apparently doesn’t cover the VOCs in polypropylene rugs. I like it

Looks great and shag feels good. I was expecting the backing to be a little bit thicker. I used a pad.

In family room, has help up for 6 months now. Feels very nice. Did not need pad.

Nice rug. Very soft. Placed a rug pad underneath to give it a little more plush feel. So far so good. Very happy with purchase.

You get what you pay for most of the time!

I was skeptical about this rug because of the price, but the reviews weren't bad. I should have gone with my gut feeling. As soon as I started unrolling the rug, I could tell it was cheap quality. I don't find the rug soft at all, and I compare it to a cheap acrylic sweater. As far as the way it looks, it looks fine, and if you have socks on and don't feel the material on your skin, it feels ok.
