Would RecommendBought for a large living room to replace shag we bought 2 years ago from lowes. Would be ok small or minimal foot traffic. Pile says over 2 inches but it is stringy and thin. I will keep it because we have a dog and I already unrolled it but will buy a different one next time.

Would Not RecommendIn person, this rug looks nothing like pictured. The fibers are not dense, nor as plush as they appear. It is thin, sparse, and feels cheap. You can see straight through to the rug backing. The only reason I did not return it, was because I would have had to roll it up, rewrap it, and carry it down 3 flights of stairs! Do not purchase this rug unless you are looking for a cheap throwaway rug!

Very thin
This rug looks good, but is very thin. The color is great. The price is great. However, the fibers of this rug are woven far apart, so from a distance it looks like a thick, fluffy, rug...but up close, it is not a soft comfortable rug at all. I bought this for my kids’ playroom, and it requires a thick rug pad to make it not feel like sitting directly on the floor.

Would RecommendFinally - light gray/silver rug. Beautiful! Even works with my vacuum. Just needs a pad though, which we purchased separately.

Can a shaggy rug be TOO shaggy?
This rug is beautiful, and incredible under foot, but even with the beater bar turned off on our vacuum it is pulling too hard on the very long pile of this rug and ruining it. We are going to have to sell it because we cannot keep it cleaned.
