Soft but sheds!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Luxurious, Beautiful and soft but the shedding is a lot - everywhere. Don't sit on it bc you will be covered in fuzz. Not sure how this will hold up over time. I purchased a large carpet (8X10) so it's not going in a my washing machine. Also the color is much lighter than shown online. I ordered this to be a sound barrier between 2nd and 1st floor (with a pad from another company) and doesn't really help in that respect.

Our previous rug was cheap...it was a randomAmazon purchase. And it showed within months...got really matted and filthy. Claimed to be washable but there was no way that thing was coming clean or going back to how it looked at first. It could not even be vacuumed! It would just remained a matted mess! Though we have not washed this, I can see the cons...
