I almost skidded off it the first hour. It must be the material.Speaking of material, it is a very cheap looking ‘something’ - looks like what my dog’s bed is made of.Considering sending it back.

I have had other plush rugs in recent past which after washing lost their texture. Fibers in clumps, flat sticky mush, a disaster after one wash. This one, different! Softness pile and texture held up beautifully after washing! Pleasantly surprised, I’m a fan, highly recommend.

They love rolling around on it and playing. The rug is gorgeous, very soft, and yes, a little slippery, but not dangerously so. I did put a thick pad under mine, which gives it plenty of cushion. Sooooo soft and a little cushy

Didn't get a rug pad because it's the bathroom and it'll get wet, and it still has a decent bit of cushion to it. I am in love. It has elevated my whole bathroom and is a joy to stand on. I am hoping it still has the same look and feel after washing but I haven't washed it yet.
