Painful to walk on, wonder if 5 star reviews are fake

I ordered this rug in anticipation of guests arriving tomorrow, and was so excited to have this elevate their room. I am surprised at all of the 5 stars for this rug. Yes, the color is accurate and it looks nice, but this carpet is far from comfortable, actually being quite painful to walk on. There are hard bits of material that stick out from the bottom of the rug to hold in the wool braids, and they painfully jab into the heel when you walk on it. Even after a day or so, this rug is horrible....

Love this rug! It's thick, beautiful, and the fact that it doesn't have any kind of smell! (I hate when rugs come with heavy chemical smells).

Beautiful but sheds a lot

I bought this rug two years ago and it is beautiful and super cozy, but it has not stopped shedding. It leaves fibers all over my socks and clothes if I sit on it. I would recommend using this in a low traffic room! I have it in my living room. My mom recently purchased the same rug for a low traffic room, and it hasn't seemed to have as much of a shedding issue.

good rug BUT I dont recommend for kids room

I bought this rug for my son's nursery. I really like the style and how it looks in the room. It is good quality and had held up so far, however, I do not recommend for a kids room or any room where you plan to spend time sitting on the floor. It is VERY itchy to sit on and the material sheds and gets all over your clothes. Not ideal for sitting on the floor playing. If I would have known this I would have selected a different rug for his room.

Cute rug & colors

Good quality rug and thick pile. The braided look is subtle but creates nice texture. I already had one but wanted a matching runner for nearby. Color is very close to pictures.

Did not hold up

I wish I could give this rug a good review but it has not held up. I purchased it 2 years ago and immediately it started shedding which was ok except the braiding, backing and edges have frayed and the binding on the ends is tearing. I purchased the ivory/off white and it is impossible to clean. I only gave it 2 stars because I should have returned it. If you do purchase, best to use in an area where there is little to no traffic.

Beautiful rugs but sheds a lot

This rug is aesthetically pleasing however, it sheds as if tjere were multiple pets in the home. If this is something of a bother to you, i wouldn’t make the purchase. It is an expensive rug that requires a lot of clean up if its in a common shape like a living room.

Cozy Rug!

The Cozy Wool Veronica rug is exactly as advertised. The rug is incredibly comfortable with minimal shedding and no weird smell. It is super easy to clean and makes our space feel brighter and more comfortable. What’s better is we got it 5 days after ordering. If you’re looking for a nice rug, get this one!

Sheds SO MUCH!

I bought this rug for our baby nursery based off how soft it was. However, no amount of vacuuming helps with the shedding. I had read this on a few other reviews but didn't think much of it however, they were all right! So if you're good with vacuuming literally constantly then go for it. If not, skip it and get something else.

Beautiful but Meh

I have had this rug for a few years now. It originally lived in my bedroom. My only problem then was that it sheds like crazy, constant tumble weeds and full vacuum cleaners. Now it lives in my living room, with much higher traffic. It has started to pill and look very cruddy. Disappointing but it is super soft so I should have known not to put it somewhere it will be walked on constantly.

Wanted to love it!

I am so sad to be writing this review. I knew it wasn’t a practical rug to buy for our son’s nursery but I saw so many good reviews and it was such a pretty rug. Unfortunately 3 months in and it is still shedding, is so dirty and is pulled and clumped. I scotch guarded it, made my husband take off his shoes, cleaned my dogs paws with wet wipes. I think this would be gorgeous under a bed or in a room without children or pets or high traffic.

I am really upset with this rug and the company. I like the design and all but it sheds tremendously and it is such an inconvenience to have in my apartment. I am trying to get rid of it ASAP. DO NOT BUY THIS RUG.

Was so excited about this rug. But…

I bought this rug in October ‘23. I have had it for three months. I expected the shedding based on what I had read. What I did not expect was how hard it would be to keep clean without damaging the loops. It is only my husband and I that live here so there is not a lot of traffic across the rug. I have tried to spot clean several times and not only does it not come clean it makes the loops break apart and make holes and naturally shed more. It makes me wonder if I received a defective fabric rug...

Wanted to Love but SO SHEDDY

I bought this rug a couple of months ago and the amount of shedding is truly insane. I’m very bummed because it’s so cute and soft, but it’s getting all over me and my kids and no amount of vacuuming is helping. Really disappointed. Would really like to refund or exchange, but I’m due to have a baby any day now and don’t know how I’m going to deal with that.
