Sheds a lot and tough on feet.

I've had this rug since September 2022. It's not November 2024. It's been more than two years and this rig has not stopped shedding. It's awful. It's in a high traffic area too. Anyone who sits on it to enjoy a television show will find pieces stuck to their pants. Not safe if you have pets or crawling children. It's jute so it's very hard on the bare feet also. Calluses beware.

I purchased this rug along with the nicer rug pad. The rug stays in place and is actually cushiony to walk on. The rug is as represented in the pictures. Totally happy with my purchase and a big improvement on what I had.

Does not wear well.

This is a very "organic" looking, very loosely woven rug that simply begins to fall apart. I've had it 1 yr and am now replacing it with one that is tightly woven and has wool in it as well. It just didn't hold up and I can't recommend.
