Thick, comfy rug that never stops shedding

We bought this rug 3 years ago and it is thick and soft, but it never stops shedding. I mean 3 years in, and we still have to vacuum up loose threads from this rug once a week. This thing sheds as much as my dogs do.

Poor Quality

Purchased this rug over a year ago and it will not stop shedding no matter how many times it’s been vacuumed. Now, I don’t recommend anyone sit on or even touch our living room floor because they’ll get fibers all over their clothes. An unfortunate buy.

Great rug

Purchased the rug in grey. It is very soft and fits really nicely with the space. My one complaint is that is it a bit darker than pictured.

This carpet does not have a border!!!!!

The website images are so deceiving, I’m very disappointed with this purchase. The rug does not have the border in a different color, you can’t even see any border, looks like a flat and plain rug, all in one color only.

Great colors

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Love the colors and is a nice thick rug. I gave it a 4 because the border is loomed obviously crooked. I bought two of these and one shed terribly for 3 months and the other barely shed. Love them both!

Shades of Grey

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This rug arrived only wrapped in plastic (not in a box) and had an extremely strong chemical odor once it was taken out of the bag. It took about a week for the odor to disappear. We love the two colors of grey in this rug, but unfortunately it is already coming apart on the edges.

This rug SUCKS

We bought this rug because it had a nice simple pattern with the blue accent we wanted. But once we set it up, we noticed fibers stuck all over us after sitting or standing on it. Literally hours of vacuuming later, it's still shedding. I filled the vacuum about 6 or 7 times, to the top with white and blue fibers and it still sheds. I'm pretty sure you could vacuum it until there was nothing left. The fibers spread across the entire upper floor of our house. Without constant vacuuming, this rug ...

Beautiful rug

First time ordering a rug online. Was delivered today, earlier than original date. Beautiful, well-made, not much shedding for a wool rug, rolled out flat. The center is a light taupe, with light grey border. I’ll be ordering another soon.

Do not buy

I developed allergies from the wool material as the rug sheds a lot.

Beautiful rug but beware of shedding!!

I love the look and feel of this rug. My cats love it as well but it sheds SOOO much!!! I’ve had this rug for less than a week and have already vacuumed it 4 times with my dyson and it fills up the canister every time. The care instructions say shedding is normal for the first week so I hope it stops shedding but looking at all the other low rated reviews now I don’t think it will… :(

Rug came damaged and defective

Based on the plenty good reviews here, we decided to go for this particular one. Shipment was quick and received on time. However, it does not appear the RUGUSA did any quality check before shipping it. Immediately, we saw a noticeable defective that should not be hard to miss. The part of the rug wool was missing, and the thread is loose and coming out. We are currently waiting for the return label to send to us, and I hope it is a FEDEX pickup return.
