Great rug

Rug is beautiful and soft. Perfect for my dining room.

I wanted to love it…

We got this for our stairs as a runner and while it looks really good on the stairs it sheds like no other. I’m not talking a little shedding here and there, I’m talking about having to vacuum it daily in order to keep up with the shedding. We’ve had this runner for 3 years now and it’s only getting worse. I knew before buying I’d have to vacuum at least weekly due to it shedding but this is on a whole other level.

Thick Rug but smells and sheds

I have had this rug for almost four years. It still sheds and still smells (although the smell went away for a time). My husband just rented a rug doctor to clean it with and it took forever to dry and now it smells again, that same moth ball smell. If you want a thick wool rug this is for you. I liked the thickness for my kids but I'm having to shop for a new rug now due to its difficult maintenance care.

Beautiful rug but poor quality

It’s a beautiful rug and initially when I bought it, the rug was very full and thick. Every time I vacuum this rug, my canister is overflowing with shedding fibers from this rug. I can dump the canister and start over again, and the same exact thing. I’m in complete disbelief that such an expensive rug can have such poor quality. There’s also lots of fraying in this rug and I’m starting to see bald spots. I don’t believe this rug will last very long and I am extremely disappointed.

We absolutely love this rug! It was perfect for our family room, and it’s great quality! The white brightens up the room while the black detracts from it looking or getting dirty!

Sheds Horribly

This rug sheds so bad. I have to vacuum it everyday. It just makes the whole rug look dirty. Two days after I bought it I had family over and could overhear them saying "their dogs must shed a lot". However, we have hypoallergenic dogs that do not shed at all. It was embarrassing. Even my wood floor around the rug gets crazy dirty from the lint/shedding. The look of the look is beautiful, just want I wanted.

Meets the expectations

Beautiful rug, exactly as described on the website. Thick and soft. I put it down without a rug pad, works absolutely fine. The corners laid down completely in few hours. Worth much more than it actually costs.

Shed Really Bad

I bought this rug 1 year ago. The look and design is beautiful but I had no idea that the wool rug would shed this way and to this level. Like other reviewers if anyone sits, kneels, or other fabrics come in contact with it, it transfers white hairs. It's looks like we live with a million dogs and cats. I have to use a lint roller on my kids before school to clean them off and it tracks onto hard wood floor too. I'm not sure how this rug gets such an overall good rating. I have tried the s...
