I wanted to love it…
We got this for our stairs as a runner and while it looks really good on the stairs it sheds like no other. I’m not talking a little shedding here and there, I’m talking about having to vacuum it daily in order to keep up with the shedding. We’ve had this runner for 3 years now and it’s only getting worse. I knew before buying I’d have to vacuum at least weekly due to it shedding but this is on a whole other level.

Thick Rug but smells and sheds
I have had this rug for almost four years. It still sheds and still smells (although the smell went away for a time). My husband just rented a rug doctor to clean it with and it took forever to dry and now it smells again, that same moth ball smell. If you want a thick wool rug this is for you. I liked the thickness for my kids but I'm having to shop for a new rug now due to its difficult maintenance care.

Beautiful rug but poor quality
It’s a beautiful rug and initially when I bought it, the rug was very full and thick. Every time I vacuum this rug, my canister is overflowing with shedding fibers from this rug. I can dump the canister and start over again, and the same exact thing. I’m in complete disbelief that such an expensive rug can have such poor quality. There’s also lots of fraying in this rug and I’m starting to see bald spots. I don’t believe this rug will last very long and I am extremely disappointed.
