The color and design is much darker than the website picture. The gray has a greenish hue. Also, it smelled like petroleum. I was very disappointed, but decided to use it on my porch/ screened room bc it wasn't worth the money to send it back.

Dipped Dyed Damask Rug
Once I ordered this rug it was shipped to me within the week. I did not notice any factory smells as other reviewers have noted. It fits my area perfectly. The ends continued to roll up so I just "backrolled" them around the shipping pole to flatten them out.The only concern that I had was the variation in the gray color on the patterns. I thought that it was going to be a consistent gray color but it is not. So please be aware that there are dark and light areas even within the same gray patter...

Nice rug!
Bought this rug as a runner in our hallway. I was worried about shedding but vacuumed it a few times over right out of the package and it has been good so far with our crawling baby. The rug feels nice underfoot though does need a pad to keep from slipping on our floors underneath. Colors were true to the picture. Overall happy with the purchase!

This rug smells like cheese.
We unwrapped and unrolled this rug and about two days later noticed an unpleasant cheese-like smell coming from the underside of the rug. I will be attempting to return this rug.
