The rug does shed like the other reviews have said. However worse than that it is very difficult to keep clean. My family and I have been very careful not to walk on the rug with shoes but in just a few short month the rug looks filthy. I know I was taking a chance on a light colored rug in a room that actual people use but this was disappointing. Overall pleased, great price for high quality
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Beautiful and soft! It does shed, but no more than other natural fiber rugs shed in the beginning. I don’t recommend it for high traffic areas. We have it under our master bedroom bed, and it’s appropriate for that level of use. It’s like a soft sweater under foot and is perfect for stepping onto from bed. We vacuumed it several times before bringing it into the house as someone suggested.

Out of Control Shedding
Would absolutely not recommend this rug to anyone and I am returning. The shedding was unlike anything I had ever seen and I have dark wood floors. Only buy this rug if you intend to put it in a room that no one walks in ever, and even then, plan to swiffer and vacuum that room 3x a day.

Class and Style
Beautiful quality with color exactly as described. The rug does shed initially, but absolutely worth several vacs to get the initial shedding up. Really sets the tone of our room on rich hardwood and accented with many natural tones. #noregrets
