It came with a mat attached. And I purchased a separate one. ouchy on bare feet. Over all quality is good.

Do not recommend
Will not lie flat and is a tripping hazard. We’ve had it out for a while not and the edges are still curling up. For the price, it is not worth it at all. Not well made.

Didn’t kill my dog, but tried
My dog ate 4 1/2’ of the trim. Went to the ER vet, they were able to get him to throw it all up. He didn’t die, so that’s good. It was very pretty for the three days I had it. Smelled nice too. Didn’t kill my dog, but tried.

Our seagrass rug
The rug looks amazing. The only challenge was the rolling up at the edges. We finally fixed it with overnight pressure, reverse rolling and Velcro. Other than that- it is lovely. I would have given 5 stars without that challenge. Also, shipping was so fast and efficient.
