I was concerned purchasing this rug based on a few of the reviews. Wow. Works perfectly for us!! I had been pricing large fur area rugs for awhile and was put off by the prices ( I have 5 animals) worried if be replacing the rug often. The price for this rug based on the size.. I saved hundreds. I have not had any shedding issues and the thickness was or is not an issue since it is in a room we only entertain in. I will be buying another one for my foyer. Great find!!

Cheap!!
I bought this rug to put in my 2 yr old son’s room. The second I felt it after it was delivered I knew that I was going to return it. It felt cheap - when I ran my fingers through it it shed. The fur didn’t feel smooth, it was plastic-y. The backing was super thin. Don’t buy this rug!!

Sheds horribly bad!
It looms nice, but sheds worse than a cat. We have tried to vacuum loose fibers but it still whisps in the air as you walk on it. We don't wear shoes om it either. I wish we could return it.
