Sheds Like Crazy — Would Not Recommend

I really wanted to love this rug — the design is beautiful and it looked great when I first laid it down. But within days, it started shedding like crazy. At first, I thought it was normal for a new rug to shed a little, but this has gone way beyond that. I find rug fibers everywhere — on my clothes, all over the floor, and even in rooms the rug isn’t in.I've tried vacuuming regularly (as suggested), but it hasn’t helped much. Great rug

Beautiful Rug, Sheds worse than a dog

The rug is soft and the color is nice. It’s been two days and it’s been shedding a lot. It sheds so much that my LG vacuum can’t handle it. Hopefully the shedding will stop. I had it shipped all the way to Hawaii so I’m pretty much stuck with it.

Beautiful but not cat-friendly

This rug is beautiful and I've received endless compliments on it, which would be great EXCEPT for the fact that it is sadly not cat-friendly. Every time my cats stretch and flex their claws 10 threads come up - every day I'm probably picking up 30+ threads. Not sure how long this rug will last before the daily loss of threads become apparent, but I hope it's a long time because it really is a gorgeous rug. Would absolutely recommend as long as you are not a cat owner!

Really Beautiful Rug

It was hard to find a green rug that didn’t give off that shiny cheap look. Its really soft and expensive looking and Im thinking about buying it in another color for the nursery

Dont recommend

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love Rugs USA but this rug sheds SO much. It is not lint shedding, but actual hairy pieces of the rug that are thick and hard to clean off. My two vacuums get overwhelmed by it. Love the color just wish it didn't shed so much.

Don't recommend this rug

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The quality is bad, white threads easily come out of it. Definitely not worth the money (was bought with almost 50% discount). Definitely needs a rug pad, otherwise it will slide on the floor follow your steps, your chairs....

Beautiful Rug

I am so happy with my rugs. I ended up buying two: the rust color and the golden yellow color. They are soft, just plush enough, and simple. The speckled design adds interest and the solid colors make it versatile for many styles and color palates. Great value and highly recommend!

Beautuful but flawed

This is a lovely rug, but the fibers shed like others have stated. It’s not like normal shedding, the yarn completely pulles out of the rug. I have this under my dining table which I use as my office desk. Every time I move my chair, the threads of yarn pull out. Any repeated traffic and they come out. I live alone, so I’m guessing that will be the only thing adding to it’s longevity. I wish this wasn’t an issue, I would purchase another for my living room, but not if it’s going to fall apart.

Elevated and sophisticated

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I thought about this for months before purchasing. I was nervous the color would be dull in my space, but it turned out amazing. The green is lush and saturated—very true to product images in my opinion. It looks great in our bedroom. It’s a perfect pop of color while also being neutral and can mix with other colors/patterns. So happy with it!

Do not waste your money on this rug

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Do NOTTTTTT buy this rug! Bought this rug 7 months ago and it is now completely unusable. The quality is SO BAD, the fluff will start coming off immediately after opening and now the rug looks terrible and you can see the lines underneath the fluff. DO NOT BUY!

Do not buy if prone to allergies

Very disappointed with this rug and the inaccurate description the website has for it - this rug has EXTREME shedding that will make you sneeze, get all over your clothing, and cause horrible allergies. If you want to know what owning 10 dogs is like - congrats. No vacuuming etc will help this. Also, it’s completely false to say this is a soft rug. It’s itchy. The only nice thing is the color but please make sure you know how bad the shedding is.

Looked dirty in the light

Shedding ****

I’ve had this rug for 6 months. The shedding won’t stop. Mostly light filaments, tracks all over. Something is wrong with the construction process. Not worth the trouble.
