[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The rug looks as pictured. It's really nice considering that it's a faux cowhide, but with a dog we need it to be washable. It works well on top of our carpet, super stylish. If using on wood flooring then you may consider using a rug pad too.

Faux cowhide rug
I have this in my closet. It is more plush than a real cowhide rug. The shape and coloring is very accurate. Washes up nicely.

Lovely Rug
Like the colors, look & feel of this rug. I bought another more expensive washable rug similar to this but returned it as I thought it looked cheap. I like this 1 much better. It does shed a little, hoping that will stop with time. Haven’t washed it yet so I can’t speak to how it will hold up with wear & tear.
