This is working really well to keep our runner in place in front of the sink as well as the edges down on the rug under the dining room table. My wife ended up lining all the edges with it, but I argue that she could have just done 12" on the corners and a 12" strip every foot or so and we wouldn't have needed so many rolls to do them. But she installed it and it is working, so there's that.
