Garbage

The shield marked fine. You just have to take it off and put it back on every time you ‘charge it’ with paint. The pole was absolute garbage! While it extended, it did not lock in the extended position. While I am sure you might be able to find one in the store that dies lock into position, the way the ‘lock’ is setup on this pole would make it unpredictable at best, and likely to fail at some point anyway. Spend the extra money and get one that is better quality.

Fantastic product!

I love it! It's very easy to use and there were no splatters or spray in my hair or clothing and I used it on the walls and ceiling! Definitely worth the price especially when you consider buying separate handles and rollers.

nice idea

I like the idea of this roller. It works smoothly and it has the shield just incase something would drip when doing a ceiling.

Not worth the money

Still had a lot of splashing when paining the ceiling. Save your money and use a drop cloth.

pole bends after 1 ceiling (10x12 room)

I purchased this pole and exchanged it thinking it was defective , only to find the same issue. the pole itself is metal. however, the piece which connects the end of the pole to the roller is a yellow plastic piece. the threads are also plastic. after less than a half hour of trying to paint my bathroom ceiling, the plastic piece was bending to the point where I had to stand on things and grip the pole and the plastic joint to paint the ceiling...basically ruining the whole point of getting ex...

To expensive for the quality of the product

The pole is weak and bends and will break.

It's like 2 in 1. Excellent for reaching high places and even floors. The roller can be removed. It has a shield to guide around angles and corners and to prevent paint splatter. Good price. Made painting easier and less messy.

Flimsy

This roller is not worth it. The entire product is flimsy; the extension pole, metal for the roller. After completing one wall the pole connecting to the roller would no longer securely lock into place making rolling nearly impossible. I do like the extension function but the further you go out the worse it gets. I would pay extra money for better product.

This was a bit awkward to use thats why i say 4 stars but overall helped get where i needed to reach and gave a great painting experience.

Good idea, but not very sturdy

The handle for the roller and the long extension pole connect with plastic threading, which comes unscrewed easily, causing it to be not very sturdy when trying to press hard to get higher places. We have a similar roller handle and extension pole with metal connections that work much better. We have not used the shield/guard that comes with the roller, but may as we tackle painting the ceilings. I am wishing I didn't spend the $17 on this.

Not Bad

The cover operates and works just fine. The pole though is short and flexible. It is not strong enough to prevent flexing.

Ingenious

Heavy duty, convenient, and guards from paint splatter typical for paint rollers. This makes cleaning/preparation less time consuming since it keeps paint splatter from going everywhere, and if used right, you may not even need to cover your things before painting a room.
