What Customers Are Saying
The product is a mixed bag - some customers found it effective for staining hard-to-reach areas and applying the stain evenly, but others reported issues with the pad's durability, noting it tended to fall apart or become unusable after a short period, especially when used with stain. There were also complaints about the pad dripping and causing uneven coverage. The quality and longevity of the product seem inconsistent.

Good for applying stain
Would RecommendThe sponge part was excellent to apply stain. The handle with Velcro was awkward and I ended up not using it.

Runs will happen but covers area well.
Would RecommendUsed this to apply enamel to 2" pipe. Wear gloves as paint will run off the pad. Wraps well around pipe to cover area.

Reduce staining time.
Worked well on the pickets on the deck. Much faster than a paint brush and applied evenly.

Perfect for pine deck rails
Would RecommendThis was perfect for my pine deck rails, made quick work of what would have taken forever with a brush. I did the rails with one pad on a deck approximately 12x12. It was fraying ( pieces coming off) on the edges by the time I finished, but it still worked just fine. Use a small paint roller tray dunk the pad in and then wipe excess off.

Yes, but maybe no.
Used this to stain deck railings and balusters. Here are my findings: Pros- -coverage of multiple sides in one pass. Pretty cool. Cons- -very difficult to control the stain product when pad is loaded. When wrapping the pad, there is a tendency for the sponge to squeeze out and then you're chasing runs. Load less product, and there's not enough to complete a pass (which, if you're getting this to be a time-saver, this negates that). -Sadly, pad is not durable enough to complete a whole job, an...
Holder does’t stay attached once paint seeps thru
The product is a ok. Sad part is Lowe’s did not carry the additional pads needed. This caused a duplicate purchase of the same product. The Velcro part of the holder does not stay attached to the pad once the paint/stain seeps thru to the pad.
