True Grindability

This little machine demolishes any and all organic matter in no time. It’s gentle hum is both surprising and impressive because there is nothing gentle going on down that drain hole. Moen.. You guys and gals have just beaten the Insinkerator!

Poor Quality

Model GXP33C - Keep in mind that the house this disposal is in is only used one out of every 3 weeks and was new Jan 2017. The galvanized grinding parts didn't help, at about the 2 year mark the rotor rusted to the case and I had to free it with force to get it turning again. Now at the end of year 3, the disposal is leaking at the body joint where the top and bottom of the disposal join. Too bad it's only got a 2 year warranty. I will replacing this disposal with a different brand.

Super easy to install and it’s much quieter than I expected!

Broke in leas than 6 months of use

This stopped working after only 4.5 months of use. This was installed in our new build and therefore I don’t have a proof of purchase to use the warranty.

Don't waste your money

This is the disposal that came installed in my 2 year old townhouse and I hate it. It constantly jams and freezes and it unjam it you have to buy a special tool instead of just using an Allen wrench like every other disposal I've ever used. You have to put the tool into the disposal from the sink above, it is very hard to get it set just right to use and to turn it to undo the jam especially for someone like me who has arthritis and chronic pain. Product never worked

I purchased a new build home in August of 2017 that came with the moen garbage disposal . I turned on the disposal for the very first time on January 17, 2020 and the unit did not work. I checked all the connections and verified that the unit has power even reset the power button on the unit .just a faint hum of electricity but unit does not work

My lifetime 4th disposal, and this one works great. Seriously if you teach all users to scrap their plate in the trash, then rinse over disposal, disposals should last 15 years or more. Not durable and does jam

Our garbage disposal is 2 years old and seldom used. Please note that it does jam and getting it unstuck isn't easy with the "non-jamming" design (one of the reasons we seldom use it). The main body of the disposal leaks and since there is no o-ring or other gasket there's not much that can be done about it (second reason we don't often use it). Moen Garbage Disposal

I had a Moen Garbage Disposal installed by a less than reputable plumbing company a few months ago that already quit working. They only provided a 30 day warranty. Called Moen and they said still under Warranty by them and sent a new one.WOW, great customer service and a company that stands behind their product. What a relief. Thank you Moen.
