Ratings & Reviews for Moen Gray EX Series 12 HP Garbage Disposal for Efficient Kitchen Cleanup

Quieter than my badger.

This replaced my badger that failed after almost ten years of service. For the same price it has a longer warranty, makes less noise and was easier to install. Win, win win!

Good value.

Just installed and all is well so far. Good value.

Good warranty

It’s easy to install and relatively compact. But it is pretty noisy, it has a high pitch buzzing sound while running, it doesn’t sound like anything wrong, it’s just loud.

Great features

I’m so happy, excellent quality and easy to installation

Sleek look, but best of all easy install

Really like the lighter weight of this unit. Moen makes great products. This one is no exception.

Just got it, works good

Just upgraded to a 1/2 hp Moen dispose after our failed. Plumber said it should last at least 6 years and it is tough enough to grind glass. Hopefully it will just chomp food without issues.

Excellent

For years I have been running with another "big box" garbage disposal unit. I could count on it to rust out every 3 to 4 years. Without fail... it did this time also. Lady at the "big box" store saw mw picking up the same unit and she stopped me. She told me to go with the Moen. 5 year warranty and pretty much rust resistant. It was an added pleasure to have it much quieter than the "other one". So don't "Badger" yourself... the Moen is so much better and so easy to instal.

Easy to install and very quiet.

I bought this to replace a broken disposal and the install was very easy and this one is much quieter than the old one. I just installed this a couple of days ago so will see how it keeps up but so far we ave very satisfied.

Very loud

My son bought this for me to replace a broken disposal. It is supposed to be quiet when it runs. NOT!

Great feature!!...backsplash

Only garbage disposal I found w/removable splash guard (w/out taking the disposal completely apart) for thorough & frequent cleaning purposes.

Quiet, easy install

My bottom of the line disposal started leakin after about 3 years. Decided to move up to 1/2 horsepower and a 5 year warranty. Was easy to install and operates much quieter than the cheapo one I had.

Nice and small made in USA

Like the garbage . Disposal powerful and installed nicely does the job

good buy

great features such as rust resistant low noise and built in wired plug i really don’t understand the concept of buying and putting a wire to plug this since all appliances comes with plugs to the to make it work i just hope it last more than 5 years towards warranty i can’t bear the idea of mailing this humongous item just to get a replacement

Moen EX50C Disposal

I just purchased and installed the EX50C. Installation was straight-forward and quick, thanks in part to a) the product itself, and b) the idiot-proof (meaning excellent) installation guide. When I flicked the switch, it worked! No vibration, relatively quiet and efficient. I highly recommend this product.

great

The one i had went out. It worked for 10 year. This one is very good and it is not very loud. It is very quite. I hope this one last as long as my other one did.

Quiet and just as easy to install. Lightweight.

Works much quieter and grinds good like the best of them. It didn’t come with a wrench.

Quiter than my old garbage disposal

Very well worth the money and the 5 year warranty a plus.

Fairly quiet compared to others

I'm happy about my new garbage disposal. i just hope that it will be useful and functioning for a long time.

Very quiet

Easy installation, quiet, well packaged. Very high rating on line

Replacement disposal

Just installed - haven’t really used it yet. Will know more once we use it after a couple of weeks.
