Easy to install

Lightweight easy to install, it comes with a small tool to keep the metal O ring open to ensure it, I use the jack of my car to hold it while securing the O ring.

Great Garbarge Disposal

I just had my new disposal installed (I couldn't do it myself) and it works perfectly!

Lasted a few months

I purchased this to replace my old disposal and I wish I would have spent the extra money and bought a better brand. This disposal was very loud and rattled the entire sink and counter with the tiniest bit of food scraps. Today (about 4 months after buying it) i turned it on and it buzzed and shut down. The unit will not turn back on even after pushing the little red button and cleaning it out (it had nothing in it). I cannot find the receipt so I guess I’m out of luck?

Looks to be built well but loud on startup

This seems to be a good product looks build better than my previous model. When you first turn it on it makes a loud ping noise that my last badger 100 didn’t have. It’s somewhat disappointing seeing as how I purchased this Item because it was supposed to be quieter than the entry level models. I’m afraid to use it while my baby is sleeping.

Quiet and lightweight

Made the purchase after several reviews of other products and comparing. Glad I bought the one with the ring installation tool, made quick work of getting the ring on. The hardest part was getting the disposal to attach to the mounting flange, but is not the fault of the disposal. I'm sure people who install on regular basis know a few tricks, also the disposal is very lite, so wasn't that bad holding it up, to get it attached. Good Looking Disposal

Love the sleek appearance of the EX50C Moen Disposal. Easy installation. Comes with factory installed power cord. High speed motor is relatively quiet. One minor concern, wish the black rubber drain strainer was a bit more robust.

Came with a 5 year warranty

I went to purchase a new disposal and noticed this was only $10 more than my old model. This one came with a 5 year warranty instead of a 2 year like my old one. My plumber was happy that it came with it's own plug as a lot don't. Was happy to see it was made by Moen. It was just installed today so I can't review beyond that.

quieter and more powerful

tired of replacing garbage disposal every 5 years. Bought a modestly more expensive unit with more power and after installing it is much quieter. Instructions were easy to follow. Very happy with unit

Garbage Disposal

I bought today and it was installed in less than 45 minutes. Very quiet and well constructed disposal.

Seems like it will do the job.

Just installed this disposal today, so I don't have any reference to its durability yet. Install was pretty straight forward. The hardest part was removing the old one. Time will tell how good this unit is. I can say that it is much quieter than the old Insinkerator I removed. 3 stars only because of the unknown durability and performance.

Built well, easy installation

Bought this yesterday, installed today to replace a 3/4 HP disposal that died on us. Easy to replace the old one with this. I like the size and shape of it and, with the limited experience we have so far, it's working excellently.
