Great Brand

Installed very easy product was a lot better than the old 1980's Kenmore the last homeowner had installed sounding like a jet engine..

RELATIVELY QUIET

This is the first time I tried this brand of garbage disposal; I must say I am glad I did. This one is quieter than the others that I bought in the past.

Moen Prep Series 1/2 -HP Garbage Disposal

Was good and as advertised. Not as quiet as I thought. Although I really haven't heard of a quiet disposal even if they say they are. It replaced a Badger 1/2 hp that was leaking and rusted out after about 5 years. thought I would try Moen.

Very quite

Just purchased this disppsal recently and I replaced it myself & it was very easy to replace my old disposal. I'm really enjoying how quite this disposal is compared to the one I recently had.

Died quick, Moen won't transfer warranty

Moen wouldn't transfer the warranty of the disposal to me since I wasn't the original purchaser. Device died in less than four years (troubleshooting/un-jamming documents didn't help - the motor has seized) and Moen refuses to back their product since the previous home owners, not me, installed this a couple years ago. Their excuse was, "we've done it this way since 1996" - which is some pretty amazing logic...woof. If you don't back your products then I won't be buying a Moen replacement.

New garbage disposal

Just got this and was easily installed. It works great and is much quieter than the previous one I had.

Disposal

We bought the above model a week ago and we love it. It’s so much more quiet than or old one and I like the tapered design as it fits much better in the sink cabinet.

Moen ex50c

Installed ex50c 10/228/2020 super quite, easy install and wife very HAPPY!

Simple install, quiet

I just put this in. Install was simple and strife forward with the exception of no plumbers putty included. The disposal is quiet, but I haven't actually ran anything through it yet.

Very good disposal so far

Pros. I installed this 2 week's ago. It does the job well and is quieter than most. Takes up less space than our previous disposal. Removable splash guard is a plus. Nice, tight stopper fits snugly. Minor Cons. We turn it on at the end of the day to make sure there isn't any food left in it . When there isn't there is a brief chinging noise when it starts. The Simple Snap Tool is useful when replacing the snap ring but not so simple to use. Use caution, maybe gloves when using the tool. ...

Replacement disposal

I purchased this disposal at 6:00AM after removing an old leaking one the night before. We like the compact style and sufficient power. The only quirk was that a 90 degree drain was included and I needed a straight pipe that I had to return to the store to purchase.

Very easy to install

I bought this and took old out and installed new garbage disposal with-in 1hour and 1/2. Had to go back to store to get plumbers putty

Quiet

The unit is quieter than the last one. It was not a Moen.

Too early to tell

Just had disposal installed. It is louder than ones I had previously, but seems to operate fine. Had a very difficult time trying to find and view the serial number, which is on the bottom of the unit (not on receipt, could not find in manual) slowing up the registration process.

Excellent product

Very quiet and powerful. Easy installation but should have provided a wire clip. The smallest available was difficult to fit in the recessed area of the disposal.
