Appearance, ease of use. Rubber grips at end will scar paint. Mine left a streak while trying to get in position.

Looks nice. Tension install failed. Studs instead.

Installed on drywall. Tried to simply use the tension feature, but it kept slipping down and marking up and chipping our drywall. Perhaps our liner and curtain choice were too heavy or the drywall wasn't flush enough for the tension to hold. Resorted to permanently installing into the wall and using the stud method. Word of wise for those that choose to do the same: either replace the provided screws with something with a larger head depth, or drill a bigger hole in the wall/stud. Manual says 1/...

Easy to install, looks durable. Don't care for the holes at the bottom of rod (to set length), but can see why they are needed, so OK.

So many problems with this shower rod

I really dislike this shower rod. Usually I can easily put up a shower curtain tension rod but this one was not easy. First off, I really hate the buttons to extend the rod. I want to extend the rod to the length I need without having to push a button at intervals. This was very annoying. I had to push the button to extend it, then when I pushed it again, it was too wide so I had to push the button to release the extension which would then snap back 2 or 3 buttons so I had to push the button fo...

Curtain hooks do not move smoothly over joined rod

The flange on one end does not sit flat on wall. Walls were newly installed and level.

Great hold with no drilling

Worst shower curtain rod

Everything is bad with this rod. Plastic end pieces are not soft & it made my new home bathroom drywall ugly with paint chipoff. Locking knob/spring tension head in the inner rod got stuck & took an hour to reposition it to the corresponding slot with a special tool.It’s quite tedious to install it by yourself. Better if you have other person help. After final installation, curtain rings are not smoothly sliding through,because of the step between inner and outer rods. I wonder how this got 4+...

Weird install

Weird installation. Needed some help putting it up. Got it as Christmas gift. It has been drooping for about a nothing now so it lasted a good four months. Not impressed.
