Nice looking fireplace, poor heating
Would Not RecommendFireplace insert should also be ordered with the surround. Flame is adjustable, but only useful for viewing. This unit does not kick out much heat and certainly will not heat up to 1000 sq feet. Lucky if it heats up 300 sq feet. Not sure why it's a Bestseller. It is a huge disappointment and for over $500, plus install definitely not worth it.

Would RecommendDid one review, doing this one to post picture and to say if mounting in wall, you do not need the $143 trim kit. I used PVC trim and left 1/4" space above heater. Trim is not getting hot at all. Only cost $12.

Great so far
Would RecommendReceived fireplace on schedule after ordering online. Easy install and works and looks great so far. It actually raises the room temperature after just a few minutes, something our portable heater never did. As long as it holds up it's a five star for me.

When I received my fireplace I checked everything out and found that there was a mishap while putting the fireplace together and it wasn’t up to par for the money spent on it. But I am pleased with how fast and efficiently they resolved the issue.

The heat output is amazing.
The heat output is amazing. The lifelike appearance is comforting. This replaced a woodburning insert. I was tired of the mess,ash and soot plus getting firewood cut, stacked, stored, brought to the house, burned, cleaning up was more than I could now handle. This model stated it could/would heat 1000 square feet. I will hope it does! Also have a propane furnace to compensate if the weather becomes extreme.

Would RecommendIt fits the space of the old fireplace. I like the color intensities, the heating element is pretty strong to keep a large room warm. Very realistic feel. It is light in weight and easy to install
