My go to soil!

My go to potting soil for all 200 of my houseplants! I mix this with miracle grow orchid bark and perlite to make the perfect chunky soil mix. My favorite soil and my plants love it!

Pleasantly Surprised

I've been using several potting mixes from Miracle-Gro and I'm pleased to say that they're fine to use. I don't understand the general animosity towards the brand (i'm looking at your Redditors!). It works fine and my plants are thriving!

Horrible.

Extremely dry. It doesn’t hold water no mater how much water I add. It is practically a sieve. And it has TONS of large wood chunks in it. I’ve bought this soil in the past and it was normal, but after getting this bag, I won’t be buying this soil anymore. From my research online for similar experiences, it sounds like it is a toss-up on whether you get a normal bag of soil or if you get what I got. I am not willing to take that gamble, so I won’t be buying this soil any more.

Great potting mix

This is an amazing potting mix that works wonders on your plants and your flowers as well. It absorbed water great as well, so my flowers grow beautifully.

Reliable

This is our family’s favorite potting mix to use for our summer flowers. Fluffy, keeps them moist and healthy. Won’t switch to any other brands!

Crappy soil to use wholly but good addition to a mix

I add this to my moisture loving plants. It adds a little retention while they’re still getting good drainage. The contents in the soil I could really care less for, because it’s a fungus gnat attraction. The clean up isn’t easy if it’s on carpet, but you’re otherwise good. You also get a good volume of soil for what you’re paying for it.

Scott’s Miracle Gro Potting Mix is a must have when landscaping. I have good luck with this when I prepare my plant starts indoors in containers before they are big enough to be planted outside. This is the best soil you can buy. It’s soft, lightweight, retains enough water but also has great drainage. Essentially, it is everything you could ever want for your soil. I wish I could get this product delivered by the truckload!

Easy grow with Miracle grow

I have used Mircle grow for many years now. Miracle grow is so easy to use. Almost every year I use Miracle grow all purpose fertilizer on my tomatoes and other plants. Never disappointed.

Best soil for indoor plants

This potting soil is perfect for indoor plants. I got this spider plant a while ago from a friend. The poor thing was basically knocking on deaths door, after replanting in this soil as you can see it is thriving!

Great product beginner friendly

Really beginner friendly and easy to mix and match other miracle gro products to get a desired consistency! Several plants I own have grown extremely well and at an accessible and low cost. Smells like nothing and very environmentally friendly. Packaging could be better sometimes when purchasing the product can be wet or bag punctured overall great great great product!

Definitely worth the buy

This potting soil is definitely beneficial in helping plants thrive. I’ve been using this soil since April and my garden has grown so much. The scent is just like any other pile of dirt. I would definitely say you get your money’s worth from these packages of dirt.

My Go To Potting Soil

I enjoy using miracle gro potting soil when I transfer my plants to a bigger pot and when I grow trees from seeds. I always see a difference in my plants when they are transferred to this potting soil.

Used to be better

Okay standard soil. I appreciate Miracle Grow in a pinch, and like some of their other products better. Pretty good value for the money. Only main issue is that often the bags I’ve received have been infested with gnats :(

Good go to base

I make my own chunky soil blend. I love this soil as my base. The plants love it too. It holds moisture almost too well so I add things (perlite, orchid bark, etc) to help airflow.

Great potting soil

This potting soil does wonders for plants. I have always had good success with my plants when using this soil. It helps give the plants the added nutrients they need, and they always look healthy. The packaging is always durable, and I haven’t had any issues with soil leaking out.

Messy but effective

This is a bit messy it is blue powder that you mix into water. I wish they did not have such a strong die which you are putting on your plants. The blue chemicals makes me question its effects on the environment.

Definitely try

This mix has an easy-to-water formula that helps the soil easily re-wet while feeding for up to 6 months. A large bag will last a while. I add a little extra to the tops after about a month or so.
