What Customers Are Saying
Customers overwhelmingly praise this peat moss for exceptional moisture retention and enhanced plant growth. Most highlight how it keeps soil hydrated longer, reducing watering frequency and improving root development for houseplants, succulents, blueberries, and acid-loving species. Reviewers use it widely for seed starting, repotting, and container gardening, appreciating its ease of mixing with other amendments. Many describe it as great quality and excellent value, with several noting bags contained more material than expected. A few report minor debris or unexpected contents, though these concerns are rare and vastly outweighed by positive feedback.

Good for a number of uses
Would RecommendI began using this product as an additive to the soil for my indoor plants. This year I began adding it to spaces where I either put in a new plant, or to lay seed in some areas that are heavy clay. I even put a thin coat down over the lawn to help keep new grass hydrated, and it is definitely working!

Caution if repotting carnivorous plants.
Would RecommendNot a bad product. Would recommend reading the back if you are planning to use it for carnivorous plants. It does contain trace fertilizers and moisture retaining ingredients. Wish it stated it in larger lettering or was on the front where it is easier to notice.
