I've been using several potting mixes from Miracle-Gro and I'm pleased to say that they're fine to use. I don't understand the general animosity towards the brand (i'm looking at your Redditors!). It works fine and my plants are thriving!

I have used Mircle grow for many years now. Miracle grow is so easy to use. Almost every year I use Miracle grow all purpose fertilizer on my tomatoes and other plants. Never disappointed.

Good go to base

I make my own chunky soil blend. I love this soil as my base. The plants love it too. It holds moisture almost too well so I add things (perlite, orchid bark, etc) to help airflow.

Messy but effective

This is a bit messy it is blue powder that you mix into water. I wish they did not have such a strong die which you are putting on your plants. The blue chemicals makes me question its effects on the environment.

The packaging is very brightly colored and is environmentally friendly when recycled correctly. The scent smells like dirt. Its very effective for helping my flowers grow and well worth the money!

You can never go wrong with this potting soil mix! I start all of my seeds in this soil and it does the job before I then transfer to a different kind of soil . Its always at a great price too

Favorite soil

My favorite potting soil. I use it for my roses and they are blooming nicely. Although they are heavy it’s easy to lift. It maintains its moisture when it’s not hot outside.

Just maybe add perlite!

The packaging is great, the texture is great and definitely worth the value! It’s very effective, but I would definitely add some extra perlite!! it has a very low scent, which I like!

Bad product

So, a miracle grow used to be my go-to potting soil. But unfortunately, I will probably not buy it again. I put It in. My planter and now my planter is nothing but weeds. I a. So dissatisfied.
