Great product

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Minwax Sanding Sealer is a product that I never used before. I will use it a lot more, it's so easy to apply and to clean up. I used it on a cabinet that I am restoring,it worked great. It was so easy to sand for a smooth finish and the cabinet looks great.

Worked well prior to painting

Great sealer!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Wanted a sealer with a little color in it to finish some deck furniture. This worked well! It’s a great consistency, glides on well with a paint brush and dries in a reasonable amount of time. I did do a second coat on the table top for durability but it probably would’ve been fine with just one. Great product! Will buy again.

Great product.

It dries quick and sands easy. You can use it over stain even though it doesn’t say on it.

Sanding sealer

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This minwax sanding sealer is great to seal wood products. Easy to follow instructions. Very light texture I applied a couple of coats for a more durable finish. Easy to close container. Long storage life.

Great finish

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've used this for a lot of smaller woodworking projects around the house -- refinishing cabinets, made a small ring holder/jewelry box, etc. It brushes on really well with either a roller or brush, goes on smooth and dries well. It does have a sheen, but it looks nice and the sheen tames down after sanding.

Great Stain

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This product was easy to apply and sealed great. I had refinished an old desk and need to restain it. Using this product made sealing it easy. Was easy to apply and clean up was easy also. My desk turned out great, I also used it on an old night stand.

Great Sealer!

What a value

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This Minwax product penetrates well, sands very easily, and dries to a nice hard finish. The wait time is unbelievably short. It leaves me with a smooth surface to work with and looks great on cherry.

Easy to use

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is a great product, easy to use and dries fast. No need for several products to bring out the natural beauty of the wood. This is the only product you'll need, it's life changing. Drying at room temp was fast maybe would be faster if the sun were out. It works as it should.

Works well

Great product

Great water-based Sealer!!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have applied this with a brush, roller, and cloth- it works great with all applications! I usually do my applications at night so I don't have to wait for drying time- I have not experienced any issues with the application not being completely dried. I always use multiple coats, which you will need to do with this, so overall, great product!!

Great sealer

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Minwax makes great products and this is one of them. This is easy to use and have no Issues using the product. This is easy to apply with brush or foam roller. It does take longer to cure than some other sealers but the overall finish is great. Would recommend .

Great sealer

I used this to seal my cnc cravings before painting. Does a great job of preventing paint bleed.

Worked Great

I used this sanding sealer on bare red oak sanded to 220 and a few coats of minwax oil based poly on top and it came out fantastic. Smooth and beautiful finish. I agree with the other reviewer, use it the way it was intended (read the directions) and the results are good. Finishes are very subjective however there are no complaints here. Would use this combination again without hesitation.
