Ratings & Reviews for Minwax PolyShades Oil-based Olde Maple Semi-transparent Satin Interior Stain ( 1-quart )

What Customers Are Saying

The product received mixed reviews. Many customers praised its convenience and ease of use, reporting high-quality, glossy results that enhanced the wood grain and color. However, a significant number had negative experiences, citing issues with uneven application, brush marks, and an overly thick, tacky consistency that was difficult to work with. Some found the color to be much darker or more orange than expected. Customers should carefully consider the specific needs of their project before deciding whether to use this product or opt for a more traditional staining and finishing approach.
