What Customers Are Saying
Customers overwhelmingly praise this wood filler for ease of application, quick drying, and exceptional sanding properties that blend seamlessly under paint. Most report it sands beautifully and covers repairs undetectably when painted. Many confirm it takes stain well and stains evenly, though a notable group reports inconsistent staining results with lightened spots or poor absorption. Some mention difficulty squeezing the tube. Despite staining variability, most customers find it highly effective for small repairs and wood projects.

I use this product routinely in construction
Would RecommendProduct is easy to use. Dries quickly and is easy to sand. Minimal shrinkage so one application is all that is needed in most instances.
Good product, container is poor
The product itself is great, however the container is difficult to seal as the lid is very thin. I ended up having to throw away half as it hardened due to the lack of sealing.
Great and simple to apply and store for repeated u
Would RecommendThis product is very easy to apply straight out of the box and what is not used is easily stored away by just closing the lid. That’s especially important as several layera were needed to properly fill a deep hole in the wooden decking.
Minwax wood filler, good stuff.
Would RecommendI purchased this type of wood filler to use on my a deck. A Woodpecker pecked and tore really big holes in two of the 4x4 posts. I filled the holes with the filler and sanded the area after the filler hardened. It was really easy to use.

Easy to use
It fill all the holes with this wood filler. It does nat cause shrinkage even when it is cold outside. Seems to hold up well, is fast drying and you can stain it. Easy to sand.
not really stainable
Would Not RecommendI had a few small gaps to fill and used Minwax water based semi-transparent to stain. Following instructions I wiped off the stain and it came right off the wood filler -- as if nothing was on it. I will now have to paint to cover this.
Great wood filler but wish the kid seal better.
I can't believe it's not wood.
Would RecommendThis product sands like natural wood. It stains like natural wood. It drills like natural wood. I was able to refinish a project and make it new again. It does not disappoint.
For trim
Would RecommendI use this to patch trim and baseboards. It sands down real well with 80 and 120 grit. Apply it the same way you would with spackle. Make sure you close the lid properly between use so it doesn’t dry up.
Works well on doors
