Miniwax laquer

I purchased this product to apply a LPHV spray onto a dining table I was refinishing. Although this is not specifically made for sprays, it worked pretty well. I cut it with 10% lacquer thinner and had no problems with application. The only shortcoming was I wasn't able to achieve a total high gloss finish but with a little 2000 and 4000 grit polishing, we got pretty close to what we wanted. at the end of the day, our customer was thrilled.

Kind of hard to brush on. Takes forever to dry to the point it doesn't stink.

Lacquer Sealer

Great sealer. Easy to apply. Great coverage. Drying time is a real plus for those of us who don’t like to wait. Easy clean up.

Good Product

This Lacquer was easy to use but didn't flow as smoothly as I hoped. The temperature was near the lower limit so I'm sure that affected the flow properties.

Does the Lacquer Job

Such a easy task. I use this on a handrail I was refinishing. It was exactly as stated. Easy to use with no sanding required, clean up was a breeze and it looks great. Could not be more pleased. I have already recommended it to someone else for a project they are doing.

Dries too fast

Dries too fast to use on a large surface areas. Not enough time to get the brush Mark's out.

Worked great

Even though it says brush on, I used thinner and sprayed it on. Came out great.

Excellent

This lacquer worked very well. I used it on a piece of red oak that going around my fireplace. It went on easy and there were no problems with streaks.

Lacquer Finish

Quick drying and hard finish; recommend you sand, 120grit or finer, between coats

Excellent product

When I owned a refinishing business I made exclusive use of lacquer based finishes. Minwax brushing lacquer is easy to use and applies great. Fast dry speed allows multiple coats to be quickly applied. I would suggest an Ultra Fine buff pad be used between the 1st and 2nd coat despite the instructions that it is not required. The Clear Gloss looks like glass after 4 coats. Best of all, lacquers can be refreshed in the future easily without removing the old finish. Excellent product and easy to ...

Great Lacquer

I used this to seal open wood on a well used Violin and it worked great.
