Would RecommendFirst I gave it 4stars only because I haven't had the chance to try it on road. As far a ease of installation it is fantastic. Fit's in my Jeep TJ with no problem. I liked it so much I bought another one for a friend's birthday this month. Great value and compact so you can put it almost anywhere.

Would RecommendLove how compact it is. Fits right in the center console of the 4runner. The screen on the mic/speaker lets the control box be tucked out of the way.

Good vehicle radio for urban areas.
Works good. Very little interference. Good reach for repeaters. Solid construction. Easy to install. The USB-C charger is a good bonus. My only complaint is that the speaker is not loud enough.

A Great option for a starter radio
Would RecommendI just got this last week and installed it over the weekend(took just a few hours) I went ahead anf got the 32 inch antenna as well due to my mounting location. In general I wasnt sure how well the radio would do but I figured the only way to find out was to give it a shot and see for myself. The other day I was on Medano Pass by myself for a fun trip. While using the scan function I started to hear a group coming from the other direction. I could hear them fairly well and it got better as we go...
