Ratings & Reviews for Midland 15 Watt Walkie Talkies with Alarm, 8 Repeater Channels, 15 Hi Power Channels- Walkie Talkie Series

Almost plug and play

Super easy install. Added a midland whip antenna, hardwired to the battery.

Simple and compact radio for off roading

The size of this radio is quite small, I consider this like an advantage, because I can install it under my car seat. The thickness of the antenna wire let me to hide it inside the doors seals. The only component that I don't like to much is the antenna itself, I hope Midland could improve and redesign this like the ghost antenna but in a smaller version

Weak antenna magnet

The magnet is to weak on the antenna it blows off over 40 mph

Easy to use

It’s so easy to use and doesn’t take up a lot of space. Only thing is the adhesive for the double side tape doesn’t stick very well

Best purchase for my Rig

I bought this a few months ago with my friends and it has been the best purchase I've made by far. Being able to communicate with your friends in other rigs is simply amazing. This hardmounted radio was super easy to install and its super clear. It also has impressive range and you never have to worry about the battery life. There is little to no squelch, which was a big issue I had with the beofeng UV5r

MTX275

We bought this 2 way radio for our SXS and are very happy with it. It has great range, it was easy to install. We had question and reach out to Midland, the were very responsive.

Best radio on the market

I recently purchased this radio and I am vey excited about the features.

Great range and features

I received the radios and mounted in my farm trucks as and in skid steer. Still learning how everything works but very pleased with the radios

Great road trip radio

I bought this radio for road communications and repeater access as I'm trying to go overlanding. i was able to hit local repeaters with this unit...... but that being said this is a NARROWBAND ONLY RADIO meaning you will sound low on the other end. but upside is all the controls are on the handheld so you can tuck the radio body anywhere BTW UPGRADE THE ANTENNA

Easy to Use!

Great radio in a compact design. Signal comes in clear!

Great Radio/Small footprint

Great radio with a really clean install. I put it in a 2020 Jeep Gladiator with no issues.

Great product!

Great product and the buttons included in the microphone is great, because we don´t need to have the unit visible. Perfect for overlanding and off road routes.

Excellent radio!

We bought one right before we went on vacation to go wheeling and used it and love it and now need one in our other rig!

Works amazing

We installed and headed to the trails! Works amazing and will be purchasing 2 more!!

Mxt275

I bought 3 of these for our harvest season. Never had 2 way type radios before. We are in general rolling country and could get around 5 miles or so. This is better than my expectations. They work and sound good. I like the speaker on the hand set. We were short shipped 2 radios. It took a few days before I could actually talk to a person to resolve that. When I did, they shipped them immediately.

A great option for offroad/overlanding.

I purchased the MXT275 a few weeks ago and it's been a breeze. Install was very straightforward and easy, I love being able to tuck the main unit down below my dash out of sight with no worries. I keep it close enough that I can reach down and plug in my mic when I am using the handset, but you would never even know it was there when it isn't in use. The biggest improvement for me is not constantly having to worry about keeping my handheld unit charged. The extra range is always welcome as well....

Awesome product!

We just installed this in my Jeep and already love it. We also got the hand held a and I like them but I love that this is held one place! It’s great!

More to come

Bought this a few weeks back. Works great for SAR and personal adventures. Will be buying more
