I bought the Maytag Pet Pro 3 years ago. It has had to be repaired due to not draining because of loose wires. It has stopped draining once again now due to electrical issues in the control panel.

Great washer and quiet

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The unit is great! It has a fairly big capacity and is fairly quiet. Ashes clothes clean and better than my last 2 washers! Cleaned clothing that was in the throw away due to stains pile.

DON'T BUY IT

Absolutely THE WORST washer I have ever owned. Clothes do not come clean. Residue left behind. Have to select Heavy duty, Deep Fill, extra rinse, AND must use warm or hot water to have laundry mostly clean. And don't even get me started on the terrible job to does on the dog blankets.

Worst washing machine ever

I bought this machine in 2024 and am very unhappy with it. It leaves white residue on black clothes so bad i have to wash the load twice. Now when i start the machine with a new load it goes in a drain for a minute or 2 and then stops amd says done.

not working

1 year 8 months later and the washer is not working. lid won't lock and it goes from sense right to done. have the Lowe's protection plan the tech didn't show. we sat at home for the 5 hr window for the company to show up they never came. 10 days still now answers. don't buy Maytag...don't buy from Lowe's

The HAIR!!

Let me start by saying I work with dogs and have five dogs. My laundry is very dirty and very hairy! For reference, I had a newer model impeller Speed Queen washer that was not cleaning my clothes. Negative Reviews Are Spot On!!!!

I bought this washer 11 months ago and it needed to be repaired within 10 days. So very disappointed. Water levels are pathetic which causes the agitator to make a loud grinding noise. This has to be causing extra wear and tear on fabric and clothing. It won't do a deep-fill either. It seems to take a long time to do a load and I have to kkep checking because there's no end-of-cycle sound. No unbalanced indicator. The washer I had for 20.years had better features. DON'T DO IT!!! RUN AWAY!!!!

We bought the set thinking we were really getting a great NAME BRAND (been around decades) that would suit out needs with animals. TRASH!!! COMPLETE TRASH and wasted time and money. We've had the machine less than 3 yrs and have had to put TWO... YES, TWO capacitors on it. Absolutely NO HELP from customer service with Maytag.... and a warranty??? For what?? It covered nothing and was just donated money because it sure didn't benefit us at all!!! DO NOT BUT THIS SET

Disappointing Washing Machine

My washer is less 3 years old. I was told that I need a new control board and I’m better off just getting a new machine. I would thinks a product from a well known manufacturer should last longer than 3 years. Don’t buy this item get s Maytag

Frustrated

Big cycles just get loud and can’t spin having to adjust the balance taking forever. The clothes never really move, how does it wash? Leaves residue consistently on clothing. I always separate light and dark and still leaves marks I can’t understand. Paid a lot for this should work. Went with maytag as to not have these issues and it’s the worst I’ve own. Help

False advertisement

DON'T BUY this washer thinking you can wash your big loads or your heavy loads. We bought it 6 months ago and have already had service out 3 times for it, and twice for the matching dryer. They sell you on the large capacity factor when in reality you can't put more than about 7 bath towels in at a time. They say don't put more than 35lbs of wet stuff in there. First of all how are we supposed to know what 35 WET pounds of clothes is and secondly - how the heck are we supposed to wash comforters...

Avoid these machines

Horrible machine. Stopped working after 2.5yrs. Warranty is only 1 year. Control board went out. Nothing lasts these days but 2.5 years for a washer is ridiculous.

I have not even had this for a year and the inside is already very smelly and I use affresh once a month.

JUNK!!

Out of less than one year of ownership we have had three major warranty calls, had the main control board replaced, the belt several times and a bunch of nylon gears and other parts that look like junk. Every time we called Maytag (terrible customer service) we would wait at least a week to get a service person out, then a week or two waiting for whirlpool to send the warranty parts to service company, then wait another week for them to come out!!!! I will NEVER purchase another appliance built ...

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Only a few weeks old but so far still working The button display panel and knob are extremely cheap and you can tell when you're using it. Not sure who's job it was to "ok" this design? I purchased this and they shipped the incorrect PetPro machine and it was installed in a no so easy space to swap out so now I'm stuck with it. Don't buy the one in the photo below.

It has great features and is easy to set up cycles

Disappointed in the end

I should have paid attention to the negative reviews more. This washer is loud. My kids ask me to not do laundry at night because of it. During the day we can hear the washer throughout the house when it's on the spin cycle. The pet pro feature doesn't do much other than add another area to regularly clean. After a year, the washer started having issues and now I find it's not washing or rinsing as well. Super frustrating.
