It continually tripped gfi circuts. When powered by a regular circuit the switc shorted and melted, the paint on the interior bubbled and flaked off, after ten uses it is useless

Slow smoker works good

I use it for constant smoke as opposed to loading wood chips into the smoker every hour, if I want extra smoke I just load chips into the tray in the smoker. New Life for my 30" Electric Smoker!

Game changer

I bought this about 2 months ago and it changed the game. I love nearly every aspect of smoking food, but the constant refilling of the wood chips using the original chamber was starting to get annoying. The slow smoker takes care of all that and provides an amazing steady stream of that “good” smoke. Glad I didn’t wait and just got it when I realized it was a thing I could add to the side pretty easily.

Slow and cold

So by cold smoking the fish first then canning it comes out moist and delicious. In the past I smoked the fish first then canned it but it was kind of dry. Overall good. Unfortunately have to still slightly watch due to the wood sticking to the inside of the hopper. I would recommend lubing before putting in your chips!

I've had my Masterbuilt smoker for a couple of years now, using it regularly. I was excited to learn about this slow/cold smoke attachment just a couple of weeks ago (Feb 2026) and ordered one immediately, I was less than impressed with the mounting system, so I copied the semi-rigid aluminum conduit mod many others have done. Works good and allows even more cooling of the smoke on the way to the smoker box. Masterbuilt would probably sell plenty of similar kits if they offered one. As far as ...

Excellent Add On for extended smoking!!

Had one that worked well

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Worked well until it didn’t. Got stuck with 2 Lemon Pellet Smokers. They worked then didn’t. Then MB stopped supporting them making parts hard to find. Had to trash them both.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have this attachment connected to my 40" electric smoker and it works great for smoking cheese and cold smoking fish. It's very simple and easy to connect. Having a large capacity for wood chips gives you time to prepare the rest of your meal or do other things and you don't have to keep filling it every 45 minutes. For longer smoke time, just fill it up and let it go.

I can set up a pork shoulder for a 6 hour smoke overnight, for example, and wake up ready to wrap. I love it. Must have.

Slow smoker accessorie

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I use this on my 710wifi for cold smoking fish, cheese and other meats that need slow infusion of the smoke. Bolts right up the pellet tray window, so nothing more required. Some of the BEST smoke white fish and salmon. Even Venison for sausage stick stuffing!

Changed the game for my Verticle Smoker
