I like the strength and durability of the lock. Unhappy that the rekey code is on the back and there are multiple copies of the same code. I bought the lock for a storage unit less than 4 miles from the store.

Perfect lock for Pod/storage units

We're moving and have a Pod at our home and needed a good lock for it. I've used disc locks in the past on my storage unit and this one is far superior. Great quality, strong & heavy duty. I would recommend it.

Really nice, heavier than the 2-something inch version of this lock. Seems to be the best thing available for a reasonable price.

you get what you pay for. This is junk. Cylinder pins stick so I picked it with a paper clip.

This is a great lock for securing my box truck because it does not leave a lot of shackle exposed so it is harder to cut off. Unlike my other long shackled lock that was cut off the door this one does not leave a lot of room to work on it.

Tough but doesn't work smoothly

This lock is tough and it seems like it'll keep my stuff safe. However, the lock doesn't open or close smoothly. Seems to be from the way it is designed or manufactured. I sprayed in some PB blaster and it works better now, but I'd try a different brand next time.

My key broke off inside

The key broke off in the cylinder, terribly flimsy. I would absolutely not recommend this until they address the key issue. Solid lock otherwise.

Very easy to pick open

I bought this lock for lock picking practice. Do not secure anything valuable with this lock. It may be tough against destructive attacks, but someone with a basic pick can open this in under a minute. If you dont believe me, then just type the model number into youtube.

Steel Keyed Padlock

I purchased this keyed padlock for my storage POD. After using it on the second day, the key got stuck into the lock. I was finally able to get it out. The following week it got stuck again and the key broke off into the lock. This lock was expensive too. I had already thrown away the packaging so I didn't go back to Lowes for a refund.

Good solid lock

I needed a good solid lock for a storage unit. This one works very well. No problem opening or closing it.

This lock is heavy and made of great quality. Probably won't ever buy another lock again

Master Lock - Excellent Choice

Seems to be a high quality padlock used for a storage unit. The design of the lock also makes it more difficult to cut off.

Works good

Seems to be working fine so far. Well built and looks like it can take a beating. The locking mechanism was a little sticky brand new, so hoping there's no issues down the line.

Great lock!

Heavy duty and durable. Love the key hold cover to protect it from weather. I am using this lock on an outdoor storage unit and it’s prefect.
