Difficult

It was difficult to align the numbers to combo lock. Difficult to see where the notches of allignment were. I did return this product. It was frustrating. Manufacturer should at least mark alignment tabs with white paint to make it visible.

Good Quality - Perfect Size

We needed something that would work as a secondary lock for our pool gates. This cable lock worked perfectly because none of the padlocks were wide enough to catch the gate and the post. The quality of the cable lock is good, and the length is just right. The lock would be even better if the combination wasn't fixed and instead allowed the user to reset it. That's why I gave it 4 stars instead of 5 stars.

works like a champ

works for the unique needs and easy enough. I wish you could change the lock code though. It seems to be pre-set with a code and that does not appear to be changeable. But, serves the purpose

Coiled like a spring

This cable lock is coiled and behaves just like a coiled spring. Stretch it out and it snaps back to it's coiled original shape. But this NOT helpful when you want need to guide this thru and around an object that you wish to secure.

Cable lock

This was a cheap way to lock my spare tire under my Ford truck. The plastic coated cable works well and is rust proof. Would have liked a programable combination but the lock come with a small tag with combination that goes on my key ring. Worth the price.

Lightweight, stays coiled for compact storage.

Good price for a name brand cable lock, stores easily on bike because it stays coiled, offers reasonable security for when you park your bike at your destination. Four digit preset combination keeps you from having to carry an extra key.

Easy to break

Bought this to secure my bicycle, my apartment's security camera caught a young teenager yanking on this hard enough to break the lock and steal my bike. Don't be cheap, it's worth it to spend more for a quality lock.

GOOD PRODUCT, BUT BEWARE

Purchased this to secure our HOA pool gate during the off season. Since multiple people need to access, went with a combo lock rather than a key. The product is strong, combo lock mechanism works very well, and serves our purpose. However, please BE AWARE, that due to packaging ,the cable has a tremendous "memory", and will simply not relax & pull straight. Again, for locking a gate, not a big issues, but for other uses, please be aware. Thanks! BigBill

Not for everyday use

Flexible, stays in original package condition. But alignment of numbers not always easy to disconect or re connect

Sometimes it would be better to pay more...

Cheap price point. Cheaply made. Can't set your own code. It is hard to maneuver the dials. The cable has a permanent memory of being in a coil. It is hard to stretch out and feed through a rack.

Hard to use

Hard to open and close, used on a gate while I was renovating my rental home. Even the workers coming in and out complained about ease of use.

I would like to see a product exactly like thisbut perhaps only 10" long as I am hooking two cupboard handles together and you must wind this product through many times to lock it?

Prime example of frustration...

I bought this combo padlock for a customer. The design is good and the concept of using 4 digits as opposed to a key you could loose was good. I have other customers who like this design. The problem was you have to have the numbers aligned at just so precise a line that it is difficult to keep this line when you are moving other numbers and the line turns into an angle. Then it won't open. It is too much frustration trying several times to get it right so it will open. The engineer should have ...
