Really shoddy

This lock doesn't offer users the option to change the combination. This is preposterous enough; but, beyond that, the coil is so tight it's difficult to stretch from the bike to the parking rack. In 65 years of riding bicycles, I've never seen a more useless chain.

I have been trying to change the combo, found out same universal code for them all. I would not have bought this if I had known.

I've been trying to find online instructions. Done going in circles, I'm ready to return these. I ordered 2 & both have the same generic combination, otherwise I'd just leave an assigned code. The option to access the manual takes you to warranty info (see pic)

Great product

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I got the Master Lock 4ft. Cable Combination Lock for my bike and I like not having to carry keys when biking. This way I can lock up when I venture into a coffee shop or down a walking trail to a Vista.

Keeping bikes safer

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is the chain lock I prefer when out riding and make a pit stop to eat or shop. It wraps around my seat perfectly tucked out of the way and easily secures my bike to a post or bike rack to keep thieves away. It can be cut open by well prepared thieves but I'm pretty sure those thieves are looking for bikes more expensive than mine. This gets the job done perfectly.

Best lock for you bike

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My son is going to be riding his bike to school next year so I needed a lock to lock his bike up and I definitely got to see this lock is probably perfect for him was made by master lock that has a four digit code, and it also comes with a key ring for your code just in case definitely would recommend this

Nice lock

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This lock is easy to use and very convenient. It's only 4 foot long so not very long for whatever your using it for. Super durable and strength wise I'd give it 10 stars. I just wish you could customize the combo to the numbers that you prefer instead.

Heavy Duty

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The master lock has a heavy duty vinyl coating around the braided steel. It is kinda hard to unravel the coil but other than that fantastic lock. I have long nails and still able turn the combination with the nice raised notches.

While you see this as a bicycle lock, it can be used all over the house, around luggage. So easy to open and close, does not get stuck like other locks. The color also matches well with everything, definitely recommend

Keep those items safe

I like knowing my kayak is locked up when running into a store. It can be used on so many different things. Simple and easy to use. A must have for all people.

Many Uses!

However my dog has figured out how to open the gate latch on my chain link fence and I decided it was better out to use for now. The 4 foot length allows for enough reach to whatever you are trying to attach your bike to. The raised number one makes it easy to lock the lock by finding them and aligning them into one line. Overall, easy to use and highly recommended.

I always forget my combinations and this makes it so much easier for me. The 4 foot Master Lock is perfect for securing my 2 bikes together when we travel. Great quality!!

Strong and flexible

The lock is about the same size as the cable so threading into holes is easy and the coating protects the cable from the elements and the finish of what ever you are locking up from scratches.
