Hold the tile up.

My handy man worked with it, no complaints, but he did about three rows on the bottom first and then the next day he came back and did the rest.

Good for large tiles

Bonds quickly but stays workable for at least 45 minutes . This is my go to for 12x12 or larger tile.

Be Careful Of The Expiration Date (Great Mortar)

Mapei Large-Format Floor & Wall White Thinset Mortar is a fine product. it's easy to use even if the bed is rather thick. The bond is strong, the spreading is consistent and the wetting is quite good. The no-slump feature works perfectly if water is added properly in accordance with directions. Good mortar trowels down well

Mixed half a bag at a time, doing a total of 400 sq ft. Takes a while to mix well, but it has good working time and goes down well with any size notched trowel

First time using this and I was impressed. Not smelly, and so durable. My large tiles aren’t going anywhere!

Feels soft /brittle after but I trust mapei

I found this product to be somewhat powdery and brittle despite mixing per the manufacturer instructions. I've liked all other Mapei product I've used better.

I placed my order at 11am, expecting it to be ready by the time I arrived at 7pm. Not only was it not ready, but I had to track down the items myself, load them onto a cart, and stage everything at the front just to get checked out—which took another 30 minutes because the store was clearly understaffed. Large tiles? Use this!

Easy to mix, very strong hold, great for large format wall tiles. Used this on 12x24 tiles for a bathroom wall and would not recommend any other product more than this one.

Good stuff when placing tile on the wall or floor. It was used for the shower wall and floor.

leaves haze (doesnt get off)

This mortar is very hard to remove from tile after it dries it leaves a haze on tile. Also, it left my bathroom smelling like the mortar. its as if it has trouble drying. Its been 2 months and the smell is just starting to fade a little. My bathroom doesnt have a shower and its not humid where i live.

Over recommended purchase

Product itself is good. Recommend to buy 10 percent over . Now I have 6 bags to return!
