Solid and secure. Good locking device. Able to receive small packages. Good instructions.
The post is hallow. The mail box it huge and It is perfect in every way. Only exception are the holes in base of mailbox for bolts not users leave holes on bottom of mailbox that rain could wet mail.

Better but could be improved
Would RecommendAfter installing this Mail Boss Mail box, I noticed everything on it was well made and solid, except where the box mounts onto the metal post I purchased to go with it. The four bolts screw through pre-made holes on the bottom of the box, but the bottom of the box has no re-enforcement plate where the bolts screw in, leaving the box able to flex slightly and could be rocked back and forth enough to tear through the bottom sheet metal. Big scratch on the pole
Would Not RecommendI received the post with a big scratch near the top. Poor quality control. Most likely, over time will rust at this area.

Would RecommendI measured properly for new mailbox, dug a hole and set the post in cement. After one day, the post is solid, does not move and looks really nice. I like it.
