Would Not RecommendBeautiful finish. I bought this item and 4 more that folks order when getting this. They didn't match up. There was also a plate missing between the post and the mail box. Returned the post.

Misleading but quality is good!
Misleading. No where does it tell you that you need a inside board to put in ground to stabilize it and have it be correct height. In the box instructions are incorrect. Lowes site is not correct. Website via manufacture explains it correctly. Otherwise you are stuck with 2 ft mailbox. Its has preset drill hole for this but this would of been nice to know ahead of time for my crew doing this for me.

EXCELLENT PRODUCT WELL MADE EASY INSTALL.
THIS BLACK STEEL MAILBOX POST WAS VERY WELL CONSTRUCTED. IT HAD A GREAT COATING OF PAINT INSIDE AND OUTSIDE. IT WAS VERY EASY TO INSTALL WITH A CEDAR 4X4 POST. ATTACHED PERFECTLY TO THE SAME BRAND LOCKABLE MAILBOX.

Too short
Easy to use but too short. Attaching the mailbox made everything very top heavy. Even with putting QuickCrete in the hole it still might be unstable.
