What Customers Are Saying
Customers overwhelmingly praise these wardrobe boxes for their sturdy, heavy-duty construction and ability to safely transport hanging clothes without folding. Most appreciate the metal hanging bar and large capacity that fits entire wardrobes, with many noting the boxes held up better than competitors under heavy loads. A few report issues with the metal bar arriving missing or too wide for standard hangers, and some mention the sides collapse slightly under weight. Overall, reviewers consider them an effective moving solution despite minor inconsistencies.

Metal Bar is Much Too Wide!
Would Not RecommendI bought two of these and assembled them (tons of tape required)today. I have 4 different style of clothes hangers for my clothes and not one of these hangers fit on the ridiculously wide metal clothes hanging bar. Measured width of metal bar furnished is 1.78" wide. The round bar in my present closet where all of my clothes hangers work flawlessly is 1.5". And the clothes closet rods sold by Lowes are 0.96" and 1" in diameter. I am going to have to go out and find a different wardrobe box to...

Hello Steve, We appreciate you taking the time to review the X-large Wardrobe Moving Box with Handle Holes. Thank you.
Metal bar is too wide for most hangers
Would Not RecommendThe sturdy metal bar sounded good but it is so flat & wide that most hangers won't fit on it. For example, the popular velvet hangers with metal hooks are too small & sit on top of it, not secure at all. It is significantly wider than the typical closet rod that clothes hangers are designed for. I really liked & needed this wardrobe box for moving but I have not figured out what to do now. What's the point of a wardrobe box if you cannot hang clothes?
