leaks

washer leaks has leaked since return period. Have had a repair man out they say there nothing theu can do. Will not be repurchase from Lowes as its obvious based on reviews this is a problem and a recall should be issued.

Unrepairable at 16 month mark

It leaks. Had a repair person come. The leak is from a hose between pump and tub that is glued on, but right about that it has fractured and cannot be repaired without replacing the entire tub. Unbelievable waste of money. Our older LG's lasted forever that we had 3 of. Don't know if we can trust LG going forward when one lasts 16 months

Unit is leaking after one year of use

We've owned this product for slightly over one year, and of course right after the warranty expires the washer starts to break down. We noticed the washer is leaking, we confirmed the connections are all fine, the washer itself is leaking and there is a pool of water in our laundry room now. I would not recommend this. Washer, does not seem reliable.

Horrible grinding noise less than 9 months!

We have had this less than 9 months and are awaiting a repairman. We never overload it, add extra water for big items, yet it sounds like the transmission is shot! It makes an awful drinking noise. I had to pull the flannel sheet set and 5 towels out sopping wet and take them to a laundromat to finish the load. My former XL washer could handle king-sized comforters, pillows, all the towels,, and never a problem. Moved to new home, ordered this large capacity washer, and it's already nonfunctiona...

Clothes come out smelly and other problems

Sometimes misses the spin cycle and clothing is too wet to put in the dryer so I end up redoing the wash to get the spin because even though it is supposed to let you do spin only, that does not work. Once it starts, the machine locks and so if you realize you dropped a sock and want to add it, you are unable to do so. Best washer I've ever owned

I love this washer! The tub is a great size, and holds so many clothes. I've tried a few wash cycles, and everything comes out so clean. The heavy duty cycle is great for dog beds!

Brand new unit, never worked

Buyers Remorse

I have had periodic problems with leaking water on the floor ever since I first got it. I had a repair person out three times to try to fix the leaking issue. It was determined it it a design flaw. Disappointing cycles

I am disappointed in the washer. I owned a Bosch washer for 15 years that had a delicate plus a handwash cycle. This washer does not have a hand wash cycle and its delicate cycle is not as delicate as I would like with my fine clothes. I have to use mesh bags to protect the garments.

steam feature is great and wifi connection handy

we bought both the washer and dryer and are very happy The clothes come out great and rarely need ironing.

Great features!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This LG large capacity washer has settings for everything from normal, delicate, perma press, towels bedding, waterproof and then there are a number of additional steam setting too. Easy to use and huge wash tub make laundry a breeze.

Great machine for a great price

The machine is nice looking and has a lot of extra/nice features. It's so big I have difficulty reaching the clothes at the bottom since I'm so short.

So far LG washer is wonderful product!

We’ve had this washer for a week and love all the bells and whistles. Along with the 14 cycles, it has 16 options. Using the LGThinQ app, the WiFi option allows us to start a load remotely. The app also tells us what stage the cycle is at and sends notifications when the wash is done so we can unload the laundry right away. The drum Is large, so blankets, quilts and other large items can move freely. Finally, the washer quietly cleans the laundry well.

A pleasure to use and great size

I am not to good at using my phone but my son has sure helped me to make life with the machine easy. Starting it, watching what cycle it is in, delay starts, and many other features. Where was this machines when my kids were small and I was working.

Adaptable to any type of laundry, the best washer!

After much research, I decided on this washer. All the reviews said it was the best, and it is. It literally has a cycle for everything. 15 to start with, and then through the download a cycle function in the app, I can add cycles for specific things, like pet laundry, etc. Very adaptable. Connecting it to the internet/app when it was installed was pretty painless. And having notifications when it is done saves on a lot of checking. Clothes come out very. Modern and easy

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love the many features the washer has being a very busy person being able to start it by my phone. It is great all the different settings you can pick from (spin,water temp.,and size of load) . The amount so soap seem to be less n makes clothes cleaner. The capacity is great with four adults and amount of jeans and sweat shirt one wears in a week. Quilts. and small blankets all are treated perfect.

Good machine

The machine is pretty easy to use and cleans my laundry well. It has taken a bit of learning but the machine makes minimal noise, is easy to work, and cleans my clothes with plenty of space inside

Worst washer we have owned

The washer has bugs, many times it would stop on the spin cycle of rinse and say that it is off balance. We move clothes around and it starts the rinse cycle over (yes, starts to refill and goes from say 7 min say 15 min left). Also if you just select spin only cycle it rinses as well (ALWAYS). I called support about the bug, the told me to unplug the washer wait 60 sec and plug back in, same exact behavior, also it uses significantly more water than prior washers we have had.
