Moldy smell

After a year its starts to smell moldly. Water does not drain properly and stays under tub. We have tried every thing. Worst washing machine we have ever had.

Stay away

Bought from Lowe’s Round Rock and the manager Kristy made it seem like it was my issue for the bad product. I am out $300 plus 150 or so in washing expense after the insurance bought the washer back since they could not fix it. Bad customer service for Lowe’s Round Rock tx

Tub is poorly made

I do not recommend this washer. It doesn’t drain water when you try to wash pillows or blanket. It just fill water again and again and doesn’t drain/ spin properly. I called LG several times. They came to fix it and nothing is fixed. Sometimes it washes all day without stopping. Terrible washer

Faulty Lid

2yrs in and the lid completely snapped at the hinge. It took me three times to get someone to coordinate a repair because the online service portal was out and the live agents were not helpful. $430 repair. Repairman said it’s a regular occurrence. Would not recommend.

Terrible!!! Do not waste your money on this trash. Does not clean clothes! Warranty does nothing.

Terrible! Do not waste your money on this junk. Does not get anything out of clothes. Whites still look dirty and dingy. In my forty years of doing laundry this washer disgusts me. It should be illegal to sell a product that works as poorly as this.

Defective

The washing machine had a manufacture’s defect. Drained water into my ceiling damaging my property. LG has been delinquent in reimbursing me for the money spent to repair the damage.

The Absolute Worst!!

We bought this machine thinking the large capacity and non agitator would be great for our large family. We regret that decision. This machine is not effecient with cleaning at all! You have to use the “add water” for every load in order for your clothes to even be “washed”. Our water bill has gone up a lot since purchasing. It causes many holes in our clothes, socks, sheets etc. I’m guessing from the “friction” it has against the items because it doesn’t have the agitation. I 1000% percent wou...

Lasted less than 4 years

Would not recommend. Pulsator motor died after less than four years. Of course its not under warranty (warranty is only 1 year). Called customer service and they can offer to fix it for $369. I would rather spend that money on a new washer from another brand. Avoid this washer and LG brand.

barely lasted 4 years and the motor burn up in it along with the electronics on the top

2 years and is already giving me issues, bought extended warranty and is a pain to get someone to help!!! I would definitely not buy this washer ever again!

Washing Machine ruined my floor and walls.

I’ve had this washing machine for around 2 years and the water inlet valve assembly broke and caused water to leak. Washroom floor was covered in water and ruined my flooring and the bottom of my walls. Do not recommend. Their “10 year warranty” expires less than 2 years too. Buy a Speed Queen instead.

DON'T WASTE YOUR MONEY

This machine broke down after 2 years and 2 months of owning it. I have been out of a washer machine for 2 months now and LG has no idea when the washing machine will be back in stock. I do not recommend purchasing this machine. Very disappointing and a waste of money!!!

poor product

we purchase LG washer and have had nothing but problems. We had a hanger for the tub come a loose. It was fixed and now the machine is still making noise. This was a waste of money for this purchase. We need a new washer machine.

Works well but foul tub drain issues

The washing functionality works well but after 27 months of ownership we started getting foul orders coming from the tub. This is a top loader! We always left lid and dispenser opened when not in use. We did all the recommended Tub Cleaning cycles but would only remedy the situation for a couple of days. Then the garment staining started, ruined multiple articles. Now have read enough reviews to know it is a common problem with this model. Would not recommend this one.

Lid Lock Issue- DO NOT BUY

I purchased this machine in May 2023 and it stopped working in March 2026. The lid lock will not work. We've purchased a replacement lid lock part and it still did not work. The lock was shut and wouldn't open, so my husband had to manually unlock it so I could get my clothes out. Now, the lock won't lock at all, therefore it won't start the machine and spin or wash my clothes. We contacted Lowe's and it was out of the warranty period.
